Welcome to the Is It? Theatre Company website.

Is It? Theatre Company
is a dynamic theatre-in-education company based in South Wales. We tour schools, youth clubs and community venues with productions that have a health or social education message. We are a non-profit organisation that simply charges enough to pay our actors and cover our costs.

Is It? Theatre Company is currently touring with four major productions:
"Other" is a play about sexual health, pregnancy and abortion
"Why Don't You Weep?" is a multi-media production about bullying
"Stranger in Her Place" explores the dangers of cannabis use and its effects on mental health. "Wasted" highlights the issue of binge-drinking among teenagers and the problems it causes.

We also offer productions on issues such as self-harm, discrimination, Looked After Children, community cohesion & young people's WAG entitlements.

We are very passionate about what we do and truly believe that theatre is an excellent tool for encouraging teenagers to learn about and form their own opinions on certain issues. To further this, we always follow our productions with talkback sessions where we can discuss the subjects, in detail, with the audience.

Due to our increased workload we are always looking for actors to join our mailing list, so we can keep people informed of any roles that are available. If you may be interested, please contact us through the relevant link.
