A forum theatre production dealing with issues surrounding self-harm
"Letting It Out" was developed at the request of North Somerset Youth Services as they feel that self-harm is becoming a serious issue among teenagers.
We developed a workshop style production including true testimonies, poetry written by affected teenagers and most importantly some short sketches, where the action is stopped and the audience is invited to decide what the characters should do next and how the scene will play out.
As with all our productions the audience is given the opportunity to discuss the issues at the end of the performance.
Is It? Theatre Company has not toured with this production, but it is available on request.
Running Time: 45 mins. Can be developed and adapted on request
Recommended age group: 12+
Cost: £150 per performance, with 25% reduction for subsequent performances on the same day.
