WASTED
Everyone goes out at the weekend and has a good time right? A few drinks, bit of a hangover the next day - no harm done. That's what most teenagers think.
That's certainly what Dan, Liz and Becky believe until they are forced to attend an alcohol awareness meeting. While waiting for the rest of the class to arrive, the three of them start discussing why they are there, each one adamant that they shouldn't be.
However, the audience sees the reality of their binge drinking, and how it affects others, through 'point of view' filmed scenes interspersed with the action on stage. As the play progresses with each character refusing to admit to the worst incidents that have led them there, a dramatic turn of events forces them to face up to their drink problems and the consequences of their behaviour.
Running Time: 35 minutes performance plus up to 30 minutes talkback
Age range: 13+ (at the school's discretion)
